Catering Assistant
 
Poppies refreshments is based in a busy garden centre. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a busy and friendly environment with flexible hours. Looking to recruit happy & enthusiastic catering assistants with excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

Previous experience of preparation, plating and service of food to a high standard is essential.
 
Duties also include;
monitoring of stock control
monitoring of temperatures and recording when required
cleaning of all kitchen, service and dining areas
operating tills
 
It is desirable that staff have food safety certificate level 2, experience of working an espresso machine (barista skills), clean and current driving licence, GCSE Maths and English. All applicants will need to provide checkable references. You will also have a 6 week probationary period.
